Speaker Biographies | | The deadline for receiving proposals for presentations at NOTOCON V has
now passed. We would like to thank everyone who submitted a proposal;
there were many interesting topics and simply not enough space to include them
all. Presentations were not required to relate to this year's theme,
"Heretics and Kings," but preference was given to those that do. The
theme "Heretics and Kings" is thoroughly discussed on the Workshops
page.
Workshops will be approximately one hour and fifteen minutes in length.
All presenters will be initiate members of the O.T.O.
Workshop presenters will receive one full comp per workshop. That is,
the conference registration fee of $171.00 will be waived and your hotel room
will
be paid for at the rate of one person per double-occupancy room for two
nights for 8/12 and 8/13 at the NOTOCON rate ( this equates to NOTOCON
paying 1/2 the room rate Fri. and Sat., amounting to $39.50 each night).
However, if you choose to waive your comp, you will be helping make the
event more successful and financially secure! Also, we would like to remind
presenters that the IV* symbolism class on Friday is a supplemental event to
NOTOCON for an additional cost, and the $25 additional fee is not part of the
NOTOCON registration comp. The on-site NOTOCON planning committee reserves the
right to alter this policy on a case by case basis.
