Information below may evolve as things progress. Additional information will apply.
The Goal: To provide a diverse array of services and goods for the brethren. We encourage OTO bodies that have an “online” store to come forth and also vend at the convention. Non-members of the OTO are allowed to merchant at this event. Vendors must not compete with other vendor sales. We encourage unique products and services. Vending space is limited; we will be approving vendors on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis. Standards screening will apply. Quality of goods is a must. We strive for a fair market.
All fees include vending space, table, and 2 chairs. All completed applications must be returned to the vendor coordinator. The accepted vendors will be notified and will need to pay their fees before the date of engagement. Registering to attend the convention is separate from vending. You will need to register with both. Please enclose a detailed list of all goods to be sold. We want to avoid duplication of goods and your booth has something unique to offer.
Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for your own construction, maintenance, and cleanup of your own vending space. You will have an allotment of space, which includes a table, and chairs. If you care not to use the items we provide put that information on the vendor application form in the other requirements section. If you have employees you will need to register them to attend the event itself separate fees apply.
Things that are necessities to bring:
Change/Cash and Quality Goods, Display props.
Provide your own wrap, bags, shipping items for your wares. Con attendees will be coming from long distances and will need some sort of protection for their purchased items.
General Vending Guidelines:
Set the stage and be aware that you are building your own reputation and networking your product globally. You are a part of the overall experience!
Vending Schedule:
(Not set in Stone the detailed schedule will be provided to approved vendors)
Saturday 11 to 5
Security: We will inquire about merchants using the safe at the venue office. Doors will be locked during closing hours. Security will be on site.
Other Things Happening in the Vending Room: Upon approval, Thelemic Authors will be doing book signing in the Vending Room (schedule to be announced). Also, there will be a networking table to provide information to the brethren concerning festivals, events, business card networking and Convention Pass Down Cork Board. The cork board will be open to use for all attendees of the con that need to pass down information to others i.e. what rooms people are in, where to meet people for drinks or dining.
As vending coordinator, I will have a sign up list with blocks of time outlined. I would like to provide a service to the venders. Which is to provide relief to any of the venders and man the booth so the vender can attend workshops and socials (on a first come first serve basis) Sign up list will be available at the convention. ~ Soror GnoSTiCa
