Arriving Early Thursday? Field Trip!!!
Sr. Brandy of Vortex Oasis has arranged for a special outing for all interested who are arriving to Seattle/NOTOCON before Thursday afternoon.
Meet Brandy at 2:00 p.m. at the Doubletree on Thursday Aug. 6 to car pool to Seattle’s southern sister, Tacoma, to visit the Karpeles Manuscript Museum, featuring original and facsimiles of important documents. The current show features the Gutenberg Bible.

The next stop, nearby in the same park is a lovely Victorian conservatory, the W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, http://www.metroparkstacoma.org/page.php?id=21.
If time permits we will stop by the Museum of Glass, http://museumofglass.org/.
The trip will return you to the hotel by 5:30, in time to get your dinner before heading off to the Horizon Oasis open house.

Seymour Conservatory - $4 suggested donation
The Museum of Glass - $10.
Transportation cost - free!
