Vending and Art Show Information
The vending and art show submission process is now open. Thank you for your interest in joining our merchant room at NOTOCON this year. Your participation is pivotal in creating an interesting and successful event. Please find the information and application for vending at NOTOCON VIII listed below. This will be followed by the Art Show Waiver and Policy Documents. Vending and Art Show will both take place in the Stearns Knight Room next to the presentation rooms. We have display space for both 2D and 3D works of art.

NOTOCON VIII Vending Application
Vending hours are as follows:
Friday, August 5, 2011 from 9am - 6pm
Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 9am - 6pm
Sunday, August 7, 2011 from 9am - 3pm
Vendor setup begins Friday morning from 8:00 – 9:00 am. Please let us know if you need more time to set up.
Tear-down will begin after mass on Sunday. Please complete your pack-up process as soon as possible so that everyone may have dinner before the closing ceremony and reception.
Vendor rates are as follows for all three days, August 5 - 7, 2011 EV:
O.T.O. initiate:
- 1/2 of an 6’ table will cost $75/weekend
- full 6’ table will cost $150/weekend
Non-initiate:
- 1/2 of an 6’ table will cost $100/weekend
- full 6’ table will cost $200/weekend
There are a limited number of spaces available and they will be filled on a first come, first served basis, subject to committee approval. Initiates will be given priority. This weekend rate is non-inclusive of any conference attendance registration or lodging. Non-initiates and non-dues-current initiates may be vendors if there is space available after we accept current initiate vendors. Non-initiate vendors may not attend the conference. There are no partial weekend spaces available, but vendors may sell only on the days they are able.
Prohibited Items and Other Restrictions:
For-sale items which are NOT permitted in the exhibit area include but are not limited to:
Firearms, explosives, lit candles, burning incense, alcoholic beverages and prepared food sales. Blades and replica weapons may be sold. They are to be wrapped in paper and taped for transport through the hotel.
Please limit the distraction caused by testing products such as drums, sound systems, video systems and other demonstrations.
Admittance After Hours
After the Merchant room is locked for the night there will be NO admittance without approval from the on-site coordinator, the assistant on-site coordinator or the head of security.
